Where to sit in a meeting
Earlier in my consulting career, when arriving at a customer with one of my Directors to give a presentation, he stopped me and asked me "where are you going to sit?". We were in the days before projectors or screens, so I was going to be running from handouts. I hadn't given it much thought before then, but he gave me advice on where to sit. I think about it always now. Nowadays, I prefer to sit on the opposite side of the table from the door, towards a corner of the table facing down towards the presenter and the screen.
